Interview with Kristina Saffran and others from Project HEAL, who do amazing work for individuals suffering from anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating disorder.

Project HEAL

Project HEAL is a wonderfully empowering and impactful organization founded by Kristina Saffran and Liana Rosenman.

The mission of Project HEAL is to provide education about eating disorders and to raise awareness that full recovery from an eating disorder is possible! They also help many individuals who are seeking treatment for an eating disorder via giving scholarships.

The founders, Kristina and Liana, are individuals who are recovered and are inspired to share this with the world.

Great people, great mission!

National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA)

NEDA is a well known organization who is committed to building awareness about eating disorders and recovery. They have walks all across the country to help build awareness of the importance of seeking help.

However, on their website, they also have many "Stories of Hope," which are true, autobiographic stories of people who have recovered from anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, or binge eating disorder. Take a look!

Multi-Service Eating Disorders Association (MEDA)

MEDA is a wonderful organization based in Boston, MA that seeks to prevent the growth of eating disorders across the country through educating professionals and the community about eating disorders, available resources and supports, and how to accept ones self.

I (Mike) had the opportunity to meet the MEDA team in 2013 at the annual MEDA conference. I was impressed by the wonderful people that are a part of their team and how they are truly 100% about their mission.
